Headteacher's Briefing

A Headteacher’s Briefing is held for parents every term.  This is an opportunity for parents to meet with the Head, senior staff , specialists and other parents and to share news, views and learn about new initiatives.  Everyone is always welcome.

There are also some powerpoint presentations.

Two are from the Headteacher, the first explaining how Assessment works at the Brook and then one launching Person Centred Reviews which are Annual Reviews but in a much more child friendly format.

There is a presentation on Virtual Reality (VR) in SEN education and one on the Role of the Occupational Therapist (OT)

A further presentation explains our rules for Medication (permission forms can be found here ) and the  last is from  Laura Hills, the Speech and Language Therapist Manager.

If there are topics you would like covered in future meetings, please let us know.

Minutes of earlier meetings have been circulated to parents
